Joan Shannon has been guiding Vermont buyers and sellers' home since 2009. A strong advocate for home ownership, Joan is also a proven advocate for her clients – from first-time home buyers to seasoned property owners. With extensive market knowledge and dynamic negotiation skills, Joan is experienced with residential and multi-family investment property in Chittenden and surrounding counties.

In addition to 10+ years as a real estate practitioner, Joan’s experience includes a background in swimwear design, manufacturing, and sales, which add to her understanding of business development and marketing. For 22 years, Joan dedicated her time and expertise in housing, planning and zoning to the City of Burlington as a Burlington City Councilor. She takes satisfaction being part of an engaged community, with a shared vision of assuring all our neighbors are cared for and have opportunities for meaningful employment, a healthy environment, publicly accessible recreation, quality education, and clean, safe, affordable, and fair housing.
